Introducing ourselves as Israeli born artists, we made a serious attempt to perform a gesture of generosity towards European immigrants from Arab countries in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Paris and Rotterdam. By offering to give a helping hand or lending a shoulder to carry a burden, we opened up new ways of communication between hostile communities. A series of short diary-like videos presents these encounters, where daily concerns, Middle Eastern politics, integration and discrimination are projected. The performance Israeli Breakfast is a meeting point in our exhibitions between us and the audience. On a full stomach, together with guest curators, we encourage an informal discussion about our art and socio political issues.
