Gil & Moti Homegallery invites Iris Hoppe, a German artist living in Amsterdam and Cologne, for collaboration. Iris will use the Homegallery and the Witte de Withstraat as a stage for video, film, and a sound installation.

Homegallery integrates with the neighbours living a cross the street. When Iris was paying visits to the neighbours, she recorded them while them while they were looking through the windows at the daily activities on the street. Monitors placed at the neighbour’s windows will show these video- sequences.

On the front windows of the HomeGallery Iris will project two short 16mm film loops; depict of Gil and Moti as silhouettes. By putting the videos and the films back to the windows where they have been recorded, the "reality" is doubled and the pedestrians passing become participants of the installation, too.

Inside the Homegallery will be a sound installation; recordings of violent noises of demolition a house. System of speakers will places the visitor in the centre of surrounding noises. In this way the external noises of the demolition of a building become a part of the internal space.

The installation "Inside out" is a work discussing the influence of urbanism in relation to the position of the individual and the different positions of the public, the private, the viewer and the art.
